My guess is that she lived in the downstairs. The article said the upper apartments had a Mill St. address.

Hello. I own this building. #379 E 12th has been a one bedroom apartment since the building was converted to apartments. It is the west half of the main floor. It has a huge living/dining room, big kitchen, and one large bedroom.It's fun to think that your grandmother lived there. Do you have any photos of her at the house? I would love to see them.
