Monday evening -
Zim dear,
I'm not getting this written in time so you'll get it tomorrow, but I've wanted to all day.
We had dinner at my other aunt's today and consequently spent the whole afternoon and evening there. At present I am in bed - with my little cousin beside me. If you hear a loud thud that's me being kicked out of bed. At heart she is a little wiggle worm.
I'm so proud. Tomorrow I venture into the "Big City" and gaze at the tall buildings. Wow - won't I have fun - Then dinner at the Multnomah Tap Room with a bunch of the gals - Don't know for sure whether I will go or not.

Did you get to Portland Eugene o.k.? It seems funny my being down here - It's all more or less like a dream. But it is nice seeing everyone again.
Please keep Eugene in one piece for me till I get back. I'm going to see Marge tomorrow. Paul is going to Seattle the first of the year - So I imagine she'll be up there quite a lot.
