January 13, 1941 Monday "... reserving the church for 4'o'clock Easter Sunday"

                                                                                         Monday

Hello, dear -
Well, here we go again - writing letters and waiting for the next weekend when I see you again -  and it's sure going to be a long time until the 31st of Jan -
Feel a little tired today, but I guess that can be expected - Didn't go too fast coming back last nite on account of it was foggy most of the way - we stopped in Salem and bought a hot dog too - finally got to Portland about 10:45 -
Keep thinking about you all the time and what a good time we had Sat. and Sunday - the time just went too fast - guess we settled quite a few of the things we meant to anyway - By the way I just remembered today that it might be a good idea if you found out pretty soon about reserving the church for 4'o'clock Easter Sunday - Maybe you could take care of it over the telephone -
Just unpacked my suitcase and found that I inadvertently carried off one of Karl's neckties with me - it was hanging under my towel and I guess I picked both of them up - so I think it would be real sweet of you to call him up and tell him I have it - maybe I can give it to him when he comes through Portland next week -
We are really busy at the office - have an idea I'm going to be working nights occasionally for the next week or two anyway - but it's lots of fun being busy when the work is interesting -
Guess what - sweet - I already have 10 more pennies - part of my collections for fares to Eugene - maybe you can get enough for 2 sets of aprons -
                                                                                    Love and kisses -
                                                                                                     Bill
