Your letter sounds as though you weren't doing much studying at the library - but I will forgive you being as how you were thinking about weddings - me too -
By the way how are you coming along with those library books - maybe you better wait until next week if you haven't finished them yet -
Also how about the trip - and when am I going to know when I will see you next Sunday on your way back - it would be very sweet if you could arrange to write me a couple of letters from Pullman or way points - also maybe you could call me up Thursday if you stop in Portland - and remember I want to know all about any Washington State boys you might happen to go out with while you are there -
These last two days at the office have been lots of fun - the job is really getting interesting - am going to start handling a few of the property affairs now -
Went down town today and purchased a pair of handball gloves and a pair of shorts - so now I am all set to start getting my exercise - had my physical exam last nite and I seem to be in pretty good shape -
Mr. Couch was telling me today that we are going to have a war pretty soon - and I don't think he was fooling - Oh yes - and this is confidential - the army is going to start building a 750 bed hospital in Portland practically at once - the colonel was up looking at Marquam Hill as a possible site, but they probably won't select it - anyway the situation seems to be getting serious - wish I was married -
Here we are again - Von just called me up and wanted me to take out the other nurse - but I refused - I told him I was all through, and I mean it - so there -
I am really looking forward to dinner Sunday - anyplace you want to go - so please let me know what and where you are going to do and be or something -
