                                                                                 Thursday

Hello again dear -
And now my face is red.  Darn-it but that is the only part of me that seems to burn.
I can hardly wait for you to come.  I have it all planned what we are going to do.  It really is nice here.  Soon as I mail this I am going in the serf.
Saw Lila & Kay today - Kay has the darlingest little two year old boy you would ever want to see.  Lila is getting married October 7 -  Wow, everyone seems to be. -
Bill I don't know what to do about Jane - as far as I'm concerned I would love to have her stay here - but H.G. - like I mentioned before,  --- isn't too enthusiastic - whatever you decide tho should be all right -
I was sorry, too, about the card but we had just found the postoffice and didn't have time to go clear home and write before the mail went out -
Please hurry up here Sat. - but be careful -
                                               Love & kisses

                                                 Thursday

Dear Dotty,
This is a new world's record for me -  three letters in a row - but it is kind of fun.  What does Helengray think of you getting a letter from me every day - or does she know it's love - oh, well, she probably gets letters every day herself -
It sounds as though Seaside is a lot of fun - I am looking forward more and more every day to coming down - so you save up or think up a lot of good ideas for us -
By the way, I will probably be down between 2 and 3 o'clock, on account of I am going to leave at noon sharp.  Mr. Couch won't be there Saturday at all, so my conscience won't bother me -
My office is beginning to look pretty smooth now - the new desk came today and they also installed my speaker system - so it looks big-time now -  The only drawback today was that Mr. Couch forgot to leave me something to do and I kind of sat around and looked wise today -  besides taking two hours for lunch - Went down and had lunch with Von and Kemler at the Oregon Oyster House - we had crab louies - and they were good - Also slapped down a payment on my car - the schedule of payments really scares me - but I suppose eventually it will be paid for.  I hope.
How are you coming along with the cute little boys at the dance - or are they so little any more - also I don't think it would be hard for you and Helengray to dress so that you looked about 16 or 17 - remember I always said you looked about 18 -
Anyway I feel better about coming down and seeing just how little and cute these boys are - I'll probably even get a little worried before Saturday too - maybe -
I was supposed to play softball tonight, but I decided it is too late in the season to start now - I'd rather not play at all if I'm not in shape or practice to play well - So I'll guess I guess my exercise will consist of playing golf and riding around in my car weekends -
Take it easy between now and Saturday and don't get Helengray's cold - will see you about 2 or 3 Saturday  -  and don't forget to be at home when I get there -

                                                                     Love and kisses,
                                                                              Bill
