                                                                    Monday nite

Hello, dear-
How does it feel to be back at work again - not so good-huh-    I hope you didn't have any trouble getting back to Eugene last nite and I can hardly wait to get your letter tomorrow  -  if I had any money I'd call you up tonite and check up- but this letter will have to do -
I am over at Bob Henderson's apartment, where I had dinner - we played golf tonite with Von - I shot a 32 at Lloye's - which is only 3 over par - was only 1 over going into the last hole - but kinda tied up -
My thoughts have been wandering back all day to the weekend at Seaside - honestly - Dotty, it was just perfect and I know I'll never forget it - you probably won't either, I hope ---
Didn't have too busy a day at the office, which was all right with me -  but it was really hot up there - about 96, according to the papers -
Took the car in today and had the thing lubricated, also the oil changed, and the brakes fixed - they really work now - noticed this morning that I passed the 36,000 mile mark yesterday, which makes over 1,750 miles since July 2 - not bad, even for someone in love - but it's a cinch I won't be able to save any money at that rate -
I am looking forward sompin awful to seeing you again Wednesday nite - will call you up at Marge's around 7:30 - so please be there - but take your time coming up -
                                                                                 Love and kisses,
                                                                                       Bill

P.S-  Also some hugs ---------
