Hello again -
Seemed kinda funny getting about 2 letters and a post-card telling me you were probably coming up this weekend, after I had gotten the telegram this afternoon - However, I will assume the telegram is the last word and that you will stay in Eugene and wait for me -- I honestly think we can have a better time in Eugene anyway, and I think I have two passengers also - So you can count on me leaving Portland about 1:00 Saturday and I will see you about 4:00 or thereabouts -
Enclosed is a postcard which you can use to bail out your letter of last Monday which is now reposing in the Eugene post-office - I am glad you wrote even if I didn't get the letter, but let's hope it doesn't happen again -
I called your Aunt Vesta as you requested and told her you were not coming up - she said she had just finished reading your letter saying you were - also she said it would be perfectly all right for you to drop in any time and she had a key for you and everything -
Well - tonite is the nite when I go social - Don't know what kind of a deal it's going to be yet but I think we will probably drink beer or something - I don't intend to spend any money either - in fact I don't have some to spend -
Guess this is the last letter I write to you this week - this makes 4 - so I'll be looking forward to seeing you in Eugene about 4 Saturday -
